A big blue flowering sprout in a starry blue landscape.  Probably thinking about the wonder of being alive, or something.
 
I used a combination of block printing, fabric collage, and embroidery to create these one-of-a-kind pieces.  Fabrics are a combination of vintage, hand dyed, screen printed, and commercial fabrics from various sources.  Some include felt embellishments or other decorative additions.  All stitching is done by hand.
 
This one measures 5-1/2" by 8-3/4" and is finished with a blue and gold striped binding (that's giving a real Egyptian vibe), like a wee quilt.  It includes a hanging strip stitched to the back.
