An orange, one-horned creature enjoying a walk in a field of flowers.  She is contemplating walking through that tall blue grass to see how it feels on her knees.
 
I used a combination of block printing, fabric collage, and embroidery to create these one-of-a-kind pieces.  Fabrics are a combination of vintage, hand dyed, screen printed, and commercial fabrics from various sources.  Some include felt embellishments or other decorative additions.  All stitching is done by hand.
 
This one measures 5-1/4" by 7-1/2" and is finished with a mustard yellow linen binding, like a micro quilt.  It has some hand-dyed sparkly fabric, and includes a hanging strip stitched to the back.
