WHO IS FISHCAKES?
Despite referring to ourselves as "we" throughout this website, fishcakes is actually just one woman with a compulsion to make stuff. That person is Voz Perkins and she draws and prints and sews all this stuff from her home in a Providence, Rhode Island neighborhood. She likes animals and queers and hot beverages of all varieties. 🏳️🌈
Voz has been making and selling art under the banner of fishcakes since 2001, starting with hand screen printed canvas patches, one-of-a-kind screen printed bags, and monster buttons. She is never not working on something new! You can check out her most recent adventures by following her on instagram, or become a patron and get glimpses into the creative process, new projects, sketchbook pages, and her daily monster doodles.
WHERE IS FISHCAKES?
Fishcakes is based in Providence, RI. We don't have a brick and mortar location, but you can look at our stockist list to see where you can buy fishcakes in person. You can also find the locations and dates of any upcoming shows we're participating in.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?
Orders are shipped through the mighty USPS 3-5 days after purchase. If your order contains a custom item, it will ship 10-15 days after purchase.
Domestic orders ship first class with tracking unless they exceed 1lb in weight, in which case they ship Priority Mail with tracking. Expedited shipping rates are available at checkout.
International orders ship first class with tracking where available.
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
You will receive an email when your order ships containing tracking information. Stickers, patches, and small books ship without tracking.
MY PACKAGE IS LOST! WHAT DO I DO?
We only have the same tracking information you have, but if your order doesn't get delivered or something else weird happens, let us know and we'll do what we can to help figure it out.
CAN I SHIP TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Absolutely! You have the option of shipping to any address at check out.
I'M IN RHODE ISLAND, CAN I PICK MY ORDER UP INSTEAD OF HAVING IT SHIPPED?
Yes! Local pick up can be arranged. Send Voz a note with your order, or using our contact form, and we'll figure out what works best. There's no option for "pick up" at checkout, so you'll have to pay for shipping initially, but we'll refund you the shipping cost after we've gotten you your order.
MY ORDER IS A GIFT CAN YOU LEAVE OUT THE RECEIPT?
To save on paper we don't include receipts in our shipments, but we usually include a "thank you for your order" note, so please let us know your purchase is a gift and we'll omit the thank you note and make your order look extra special.
DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAP?
We don't have gift wrap, but let us know at checkout that your purchase is a gift, and we will be happy to make it look like a present with tissue and ribbons!
CAN I ADD A PERSONAL NOTE?
YES! Let us know at checkout what you'd like your note to say and we'll include a cute card with your message.
Personal information collected on this website will only be used to process your order or to get in touch with you about your order if necessary.
Your email will not be given, sold, loaned, leased, bartered, shown, or otherwise communicated (not even by semaphore or top secret spy code) to anyone else. Ever.
You are not opting in to a mailing list or newsletter. You should only ever hear from us if we need to ask or tell you something about your order.
